Description

The Girl Scouts of North East Ohio offers a scholarship to a Girl Scout who is a graduating senior. The number of scholarships is based on the amount of fundraising and/or amount of money allocated from the council.

Instructions

Mail the application form and required documentation to the attention of Jennifer Kruger at the address provided

Eligibility

Registered Girl Scout with Summit, Portage, or Medina counties of Girl Scouts of North East Ohio
Must be a graduating high school senior in the spring who has also been an active Girl Scout in GSNEO for at least one (1) year

Application
Describe your participation in Girl Scouting. Include a list of activities, awards, and leadership experience/positions
Explain how Girl Scouting has contributed to who you are as a person
Describe your participation in school, church, and/or the community. Include activities, awards, offices held, honors, etc.
Describe your plans for the future including education and career
The most recent grade report, transcript or official school letter should be submitted

Criteria

Must be accepted into a post-high school program at an institution of higher learning. Acceptance letter must be submitted with the application. Verification of enrollment will be required before scholarship is issued
